Society goals
- To promote the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in diabetes.
- To promote interest in and improve the clinical practice of diabetes.
- To promote basic and clinical research into diabetes.
- To hold scientific meetings annually.
Eligibility
Any medical graduate, scientist or health care professional with an interest in diabetes is eligible for membership of the Society.
A completed "Application for Membership" form and the first year's subscription (from April 1 each year) should be submitted to the membership secretary.
Fee for physicians: $115 incl GST
Fee for companies $230 incl GST
Fee for all other individuals $69 incl GST
General Practitioner and Practice Nurse one year free membership offer
NZSSD would like to offer ALL General Practitioners and Practice Nurses the opportunity to enjoy 1 year's free membership to enable them to experience the benefits of being a member of NZSSD. This offer is for individuals not already a member of NZSSD, and who are affiliated with one of the PHOs in New Zealand.
