Society goals
- To promote the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in diabetes.
- To promote interest in and improve the clinical practice of diabetes.
- To promote basic and clinical research into diabetes.
- To hold scientific meetings annually.
Eligibility
Any medical graduate, scientist or health care professional with an interest in diabetes is eligible for membership of the Society.
A completed "Application for Membership" form and the first year's subscription of $50 (from April 1 each year) should be submitted to the membership secretary.
General Practitioner and Practice Nurse one year free membership offer
NZSSD would like to offer ALL General Practitioners and Practice Nurses the opportunity of taking us up on the offer of 1 year's free membership for them to experience the benefits of being a member of NZSSD. This offer is for individuals not already a member of NZSSD, and who are affiliated with one of the PHOs in New Zealand.
