On behalf of the organising committee it is my pleasure to welcome you to the conference website for the 44th New Zealand Society for the Study of Diabetes Annual Scientific meeting to be held 14-15th May, 2021, 8am until 5:30pm, at the Wharewaka Function Centre, Wellington, New Zealand.
The meeting promises to be an excellent event where diabetes health professionals, researchers and policy makers can enjoy a stimulating and varied programme, as well as collegial friendship. We have confirmed our keynote speaker - Martin de Bock, Paediatric Endocrinologist, University of Otago Christchurch.
We are continuing with the new presenter award categories, with five prizes to be awarded. We encourage you to submit an abstract.
We look forward to seeing you in Wellington in May.
For all submission enquiries please contact the NZSSD Administrator.
The NZSSD ASM Programme Organising Committee invites you to present original work relating to diabetes at the conference to be held in Wellington 2021.
This opportunity to share your research and practice with colleagues is open to members and non-members of the NZSSD – you are welcome to pass the submission details on to colleagues.
The Programme Committee is responsible for the final selection and allocation of abstracts as oral or poster presentations.
Receipt of abstracts will be acknowledged by email. Please contact Jan Brosnahan if you do not receive a reply within 48-72 hours of submitting.
Please note: If you submitted an abstract for the 2020 ASM, we will contact you to confirm you wish to present this work in 2021.
